Eli Klein Overseas Study Program Endowment Campaign

Our beloved Eli Klein, who has given his heart and soul to our Yeshiva and its students for almost half a century, is officially retiring from his position as director of Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh. Marking this occasion, Eli was the Guest of Honor at the Yeshiva's Annual New York Dinner held in June '06. At this most moving dinner attended by over 400 participants, the KBY overseas program was named The Eli Klein Overseas Study Program. We proudly note the wonderful achievement of already raising $400,000, the halfway mark of an international initiative established by alumni and friends worldwide to endow the Eli Klein Overseas Study Program by raising $800,000 in honor of Eli. We thank all those who contributed. The funds received will be designated for scholarships for overseas students, interest-free loans for KBY alumni coming on Aliya and other special needs of our overseas students.

We continue to urge every former talmid, supporter and friend of Eli Klein who hasn't had the opportunity as of yet to participate in this campaign and do his part to make this a most memorable and meaningful Hakorat Hatov.
