On 3 Kislev 5776, Rav Hershel Schachter shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchanan, visited the yeshiva and delivered a shiur klali to the entire student body on the topic of chabura beShabbat. He also delivered a sicha in English and answered halachic questions in a special presentation to the overseas students.
