Open letter to all High School Talmidim:We wish to inform you of Kerem B'Yavneh's forthcoming Annual Shabbaton and Melave Malka on Shabbat Parshat Vayechi, December 20-21, 2002. The Shabbaton will take place at Cong. Bnai Yeshurun, 641 W. Englewood Ave., Teaneck, NJ. The Melave Malka will take place at Cong. Keter Torah (Roemer Synagogue), 600 Roemer Ave., Teaneck, NJ.The Shabbaton will feature four prominent members of our faculty: Rosh Yeshiva Rav Mordechai Greenberg, shlita; Rav Moshe Stav, shlita; Rav Ari Katz, shlita; Rav Shaul Feldman, shlita, currently on shlichut. Special guest, Rav Moshe Chaim Dimantman, shlita, a ram for over 30 years at KBY, will also be in attendance, iy"H. In addition to their sichot, there will be meals, a tish, a kiddush, and plenty of ruach. Gathering with Kerem B'Yavneh's alumni and meeting with these ramim first-hand is an excellent way to get a taste of the yeshiva, and we encourage you to take advantage. A special program for high school students will include chaburot and an opportunity to speak with the ramim. Feel free to ask them (or any of the alumni) about the yeshiva, or just sit and enjoy their divrei Torah. On Motzaei Shabbat there will be an invigorating Melave Malka. You will enjoy the food, live music and divrei Torah. Even if you can't make it to the Shabbaton, you're more than welcome to stop in for the Melave Malka. Special arrangements have been made for high school students to attend free of charge. Just let us know that you're coming by reserving online (make sure to check off "I am a high school student"), or by contacting us at the numbers or email address below. We'll be happy to answer any questions about the Shabbaton and, as always, we're available to discuss any matter regarding the yeshiva. If you don't have a place to stay in the Teaneck area, click in the box on the reservation form where it displays: check here if you would like us to arrange housing. Looking forward to seeing you in Teaneck.
