Open letter to High School Talmidim:

We wish to inform you of Kerem B'Yavneh's forthcoming Annual Shabbaton on Shabbat Parshat Beshalach, February 2-3, 2007 / Shabbat Tu B'Shvat at Cong. Beth Abraham, 396 New Bridge Road, Bergenfield, NJ.

The Shabbaton will feature three prominent members of our faculty: Rav Mendel Blachman, shlita, Rav Moshe Stav, shlita, on Sabbatical from KBY, teaching at Landers College for Men, and Rav Ari Katz, shlita, new director of KBY. In addition to their sichot, there will be meals, a tish, a kiddush, and plenty of ruach.

Gathering with Kerem B'Yavneh's alumni and meeting with these ramim first-hand is an excellent way to get a taste of the yeshiva, and we encourage you to take advantage. A special program for high school students will include chaburot and an opportunity to speak with the ramim. Feel free to ask them (or any of the alumni) about the yeshiva, or just sit and enjoy their divrei Torah.

Special arrangements have been made for high school students to attend free of charge. Just let us know that you're coming by contacting us at 718-645-3130 or ny@kby.org . We'll be happy to answer any questions about the Shabbaton and, as always, we're available to discuss any matter regarding the Yeshiva. If you don't have a place to stay in the Teaneck area, click in the box on the reservation form where it displays: check here if you would like us to arrange housing.

We look forward to seeing you in Teaneck.

Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh
