Rav Moshe Chaim Dimantman, shlita

Affectionately known to his talmidim as Reb Moshe, Rav Moshe Chaim Dimantman shlita taught at Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh for over thirty years. Rav Dimantman is best known for the clarity of his teaching and his brilliant delivery of the sugya, bringing in Rishonim and Acharonim and leaving talmidim spellbound. Rav Dimantman's large following of talmidim from over the years is indicative of the mutual love and great respect between them.

During the past twelve years, Rav Dimantman has served as Rosh Kollel at Yad Brodman in Rehovot and as the community Rabbi of the Ohel Chaim Shul in Rehovot. Many members of his community and many of his Kollel students are alumni of Kerem B'Yavneh.

Rav Dimantman is a talmid of the former Chief Rabbi Avraham K. Shapira, Rosh Yeshiva of Merkaz Harav in Yerushalayim. Rav Dimantman has published numerous articles in Torah publications and has produced hundreds of Torah tapes (available soon via the KBY website).

Rav Dimantman has four married children and many grandchildren. One son and two grandsons studied at Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh.
