Fortifying the KBY campus

Beit Midrash and Multi-Purpose Learning Shelter

Dear Alumni and Friends,

Am Yisrael is experiencing a challenging time but, b'ezrat Hashem, we will prevail and come out strong.

Due to the current situation we have decided to postpone the Melaveh Malka which was scheduled to take place on November 4. We look forward to announcing a new date when the security situation improves, b'ezrat Hashem.

Our obligation now is to ensure that the Torah learning, critical for Am Yisrael, continues in a safe and secure manner, while also supporting our Talmidim on the front lines.

Prior to the outbreak of the war, the Yeshiva was in the planning process for the construction of a Miklat large enough to accomodate all of our students. The Miklat is intended to allow for learning to continue uninterrupted in times of emergency when it is unsafe to be in the regular Beit Midrash, and in quieter times to serve as a regular building for shiurim and other student activities. The plans for the Miklat can be seen here:

We are now at the final stages of obtaining building permits, and in light of the current situation would like to complete this project as soon as possible. The estimated cost of the project is $2,500,000.

We ask that each of you take part in this endeavor!  This is a critical time for Am Yisrael, and we ask that you partake in this campaign to continue to strengthen the Yeshiva and all of Am Yisrael in these difficult moments.

Additionally, please feel free to be in touch with Zvi with any questions. +972-52-899-0550 / [email protected]

With Brachos of Shalom for all Am Yisrael,

Zvi Zelser
