On Shabbat Parshat Va'era the overseas student spent Shabbat in Tzfat. On Friday, we had a tour of the historical and spiritual sites of Tzfat and had some free time to explore Tzfat's special areas, including the Ari's mikveh.
Over Shabbat there was a special Friday night ticsh by Rabbi Mendel Blachman, and on Shabbat day we heard an inspiring talk from the local Rav Simcha Mirvis who spoke to us about his personal story of going from Gush to Breslav, and a motivating Seuda Shlishit Sicha by Rav Daniel Apfel.. A fun and special time was had by all. And thanks to the snow that fell, there was extra excitement.
